IPL / Laser Treatments
Florida Wellness & Rehab brings the Tampa Bay Area the Cosemlight Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) system. This state of the art device provides effective laser / IPL services by utilizing liquid cooled treatment heads for greater patient comfort. We offer a wide range of permanent hair reduction packages as well as photofacial and vein / age spot removal treatments.
IPL Photofacial
Intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy is a procedure requiring virtually no downtime to rejuvenate the skin and restore a youthful glow. IPL stimulates new collagen to form in the skin, thereby reducing fine lines, minimizing pore size and acne scars, and increasing skin elasticity. Intense pulsed light also diminishes flushing or redness of the face associated with Rosacea, reduces brown spots, erases broken capillaries, and smoothes roughly textured skin.
IPL passes through the top layer of skin (epidermis) and penetrates to the deeper layer (dermis) where blood vessels, pigment cells, and collagen are found. Because the epidermis is unharmed, the severe redness and peeling associated with traditional laser skin resurfacing is avoided.
To obtain the best results, a set of six treatments over a two to three week period are generally recommended. The price per treatment is only $300, but you can save $300 by purchasing a package of six treatments together for $1,500.
Vein and Age Spot Removal
Dr. Leonard uses the latest in laser/light technology to quickly treat spider veins on the legs, and broken capillaries on the face, typically found on the cheeks and nasal area. One to five treatments are suggested for vein and age spot removal.
Permanent Hair Reduction
In order to achieve permanent hair reduction for a specific treatment area, most candidates who qualify for the procedure require between six and twelve treatments spaced four to six weeks apart.
