Dr. Dashko was born in Youngstown Ohio and raised in a steelworkers family. At an early age; he learned that hard work and education was an important part of a productive life. He attended Struthers  High School graduating seventh in his class. He attended Youngstown State University, graduating cum laude with an Associate Degree in Applied Science/Respiratory Therapy and a BS degree in Biology.

Proceeding to professional school, Dr. Dashko received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Ohio University in 1983. After completing a Rotating Internship and one and one-half years of a General Surgery Residency, he began practicing Family Medicine and Surgeries not entering major body cavities in the rural community of London, Ohio. To grow his solo practice he worked two 72  hour weekends a month at Madison County Hospital Emergency Room.

After 10 years of solo practice, Dr. Dashko sat for his oral and written certification board; obtaining a Board  Certification in Family Medicine and Board Eligibility In Emergency Medicine.

In 1995, after passing his certification, Dr. Dashko joined The DH Corp of Columbus Inc which was a multi-specialty group in Columbus Ohio owned and operated by physicians. Dr. Dashko was the VP of Clinical Operation as well as maintaining a full time medical and surgical practice. He was also very active at Doctors Hospital including 8 years as Chairman of the Dept of Family Medicine, Member at Large on the Hospital Executive Committee, Peer Review, Qualifications, and Privileges Review Committee, among many accomplishments.

Dr. Dashko is the proud father of two sons; Peter “NIC” Dashko who is an Account Executive and Underwriter for Travelers Surety Dept. and Michael D Dashko who is a five-star chef trained at Johnson and Wales Culinary Institute. He enjoys time with his sons, Serena a black Standard Poodle, and Sara a red Miniature Poodle. Interestingly, Dr’s bad habits are fast cars and Harley’s.

If you ask Dr. Dashko about work he will say “I’ve never worked a day in my life because I enjoy every minute taking care of my second family…my patients”. Many have asked how did you do all this? ” Enjoy what you do, keep your hand on a straight wheel, don’t look back and everyone will become a victim of their own success.
